Happy Birthday, Darin!! What's your celebratory cake? I'm not sure why I'm not even getting emails from the site when you all post....hmm...will have to investigate. Struggled a bit today, but held on. Still need to go eat dinner, but will come back and post my day's log afterwards. WI today 159.2. That's down 1.2 from the past couple of days. Here's hoping for tomorrow's weigh-in.... I decided that my carbacation last week would be my birthday treat. I loosely have the idea of disassociating my birthday from being a day to eat a bunch of carbs. If I do that next year I am definitely going to try a gluten-free cake sometime around my birthday though. I don't think I've ever tasted one before. Hooray on the WI!!! Ohhhh....I do love gluten free cake. It's just so delicious. Pamela's Products are my favorite baking mixes to use.... I've slowly been trying to get myself to stop thinking of cake cake cake cake when it's my birthday. Christmas is a couple of weeks after my birthday, so I tend to stay on plan like a trooper for several months leading up to my birthday, have cake on my birthday and then proceed to trip over myself and my carb intake until January. It's awful. So, this last birthday, I decided that cake wasn't allowed. So, my husband made homemade beef jerky for me instead!

Happy Tuesday eve. Ate a quick dinner before Cub Scouts. We did painting tonight and I was dumb enough to not change out of my work clothes. Ironically I was the only one who spilled paint onto the seat and floor (not the 9 year olds)! Ha! Felt hungry when I got back and entered my numbers to find low protein so protein shake for desert! Yum! (Looking forward to finishing this container so I can buy a better one)
Cals: 1691 Fat: 138 Carbs: 39.24 Prot: 87.41

Weigh-in this morning... 174.4 and day six of the tense stand-off with the 174s. Negotiations are in progress and we've agreed that if a steak is marked down at the store that may be on the menu however the fueled up helicopter has been taken off the table as has the troop of dancing girls.

By jumping around on the scale and tilting ever so slightly I was able to get it .4 less. Two plus pounds away from a 129 number. Sheesh.

They behave like angels when you are watching them, but turn your head for a minute and all out war ensues.

hi all! had a 4 day weekend - took Fri off, school was out for teacher work day and my friend also needed a sitter so it worked out well. baby was so good for me all day, barely cried! i was happy camper about that! monday school closed due to bad weather and i stayed home with my son and my boyfriends 2 kids...it was um...yeah...a long day lol...today woke up feeling MISERABLE, burning up and now freezing and nauseous. we had my boyfriends nephew over all day Sun and then invited him over Mon to play (sometimes even #s help the drama subside...note - sometimes is the key word) and he couldn't since he woke up w/ fever and throwing up, ugg. hoping i didn't catch the bug too. Fri was a decent day eating wise, Sat we went to STL for the day and i ate a LOT of junk...then ate more junk Sun...and again Mon...also maybe why I feel so horrible today...so far just had about 8 oz of water this morning and it's a struggle...really want to go home and crawl back into bed. my pants are super snug, almost to the point of running to wal mart for some fat pants with no zipper!! almost feels like i'm about to start TOM too, which didn't help the desire to eat JUNK all weekend. idk, either way, ready to feel better...no workout today and may just fast all day to clear out my system, works for me since totally not hungry at all, the thought of food makes me want to yack. sorry for TMI lol...some good news - i got my new iphone 4s and using straight talk with it to save money each month, YAAAAY! it's a used one from eBay and i was super nervous it wouldn't work out or that i'd get ripped off and so far so good! yay! hope you all have a great Tues! hopefully tomorrow's post won't be so much crying and misery lol... Hope you feel better.
DD just bought a straight talk iPhone 4 from ebay. It does everything except you cannot hear people talk on the phone setting. LOL She finally decided to just set it to speaker and use that for talking on the phone. Several people told her iPhones have that problem a lot, IDK?
That's a bummer it doesn't work right!? Did she know that when she bought on Ebay? I used to have a 3g and LOVED it. Dropped it and shattered the front, dropped into a hot tub and it still worked great for a long time. got tired of the commentary from ppl about the shattered glass, so moved on to a diff phone. my son has a galaxy s3 - it's NIIIICE, what a turd, LOL. i almost went the android route but then decided i just loved my old iPhone so much to get the 4s. happy with it so far, we'll see how it goes Hope you feel better.

Android for the win!! yeah, those galaxy phones are soooo nice. my boyfriend got me a Samsung tab for christmas and i do love it. i would have LOVED to get a Note 2 or 3 i think they are (is there a 4 now? idk...but i want it if so LOL) they are beauuuuuuuutiful but pricey and didn't want a contract phone and wasn't sure if i could get it set up on straight talk, prob just as easy as the iphone but seemed easier in my mind since they sell straight talk iphones - but mine is an unlocked one, not made for just ST...but yeah, android is pretty awesome. the one phone i will NEVER own again is blackberry...ugh! we have a terrible history lol.

feeling quite a bit better this morning so came into work; glad i did - sooo busy and behind! stresses me out! got lots of rest last night, much needed. my log was small for yesterday which prob helped clean up the junk fest i had all weekend (also maybe helped me feel miserable yesterday as well): fat 63 protein 1 carbs 4 a little under 600 calories total this is what i logged into MFP but ended up having 2 pickles and some pickle juice as a snack later in the eve which i didn't add to mfp i basically just did a BPC and motrin and sleep.
Haven't had anything today yet, not feeling hungry but prob will have something soon because i have the time to make my coffee now versus later busy with meetings. WI this morning wasn't too awful, up a little 188.6 - sure do miss the 170s and sure do feel like i will NEVER get there...but maybe someday...ugg. pants are still too tight and fighting the urge to buy bigger ones. it's hard to remember what it was like being 163...wonder why i didn't try harder to maintain that weight but guess all i can do is move forward...so off to drink some fatty goodness, in hopes to get rid of this not good fat that's making my pants cut off circulation!

RoBiN <3 she didn't know it wouldn't work right when she bought it. She likes everything else about it. This was her first big purchase on her own so she is keeping it. She has been working almost a year now and just had a trac phone so she is excited to get the iPhone. Glad you are feeling better.

Thanks clueless - I'm glad too! Yesterday SUCKED! That's awesome she likes her iPhone, they are so fun to play on and look so sleek, love it! That's exciting to upgrade from a Trac phone - all the features on the iPhone - love them! So far today had 1 oz macadamia nuts, 1 oz MCT oil/1 tsp cinnamon/1.15 tbsp KG butter/about 3 to 3.5 oz of HWC, messed up my scale when measuring, argh! with decaff coffee from starbucks, mmmm. already at like almost 900 calories with one "meal" and it would be an easy fat fast day but prob will go home and have some eggs/butter later tonight...not hungry now so that's a plus! doing terrible on drinking, really need to up my water - had a few days with 3 liters and was super proud and now its back to like 20 oz/day, ugg. prob won't work out again today and just rest...we are supposed to get a "new" treadmill from a guy at my boyfriends job, hopefully getting it Thurs night, our old one finally broke. we got a good deal on it since it's older but supposedly in great condition, barely used so crossing fingers it lasts a while! i'm going to do HIIT - the other day i did 3 minute warm-up walking at 3 mph then did 30 seconds on 8mph - the fastest i've ever gone a treadmill then did 1 min at 3.5 walking. i did 3 of the 30 seconds - working my way up! have not been able to get back to the hills since the weather has been terrible and then didn't feel good. have a great night everyone!

Went to the dentist to get a few fillings. Now all numb and back at work. Luckily the phone hasn't rung yet. Tummy started grumbling while I was in the chair but it will have to wait until I can feel my tongue again. Guess my tuna salad lunch wasn't filling. I suspect it might be a soup night. My numbers are too low so far. only 794 cals, 75 fat, 9 carbs, and 21 prot. Not going to get those numbers up with soup. Oh, I have an Android S4. Love it!! Co-worker bought one and sent it back, I asked her why but the only thing she would repeat is that it sucked. Don't know why except I think she just wanted an IPhone. My jaw is starting to ache.

I'm a big fan of LG phones but I'd get a Samsung if it had better specs and I had to choose between the two. I cannot stand Motorola phones. Well, I cannot stand how locked down they are. I owned Motorola phones from '96 to about 2002(?) then I ended up getting an LG. I was so annoyed to find out that the LG supported bluetooth file transfer and the Motorola didn't because Motorola *disabled* the feature by default on their phones. They did that to try to force you to buy ring tones from the carrier. With the LG I could download whatever I wanted from the Internet for free and put it on the phone. Same carrier just different phone. When that phone broke (my fault) I got a Samsung. Then I went back to LG when the Samsung broke (my fault again - job related). My first Android phone was an LG. My second and current one is an LG (the Esteem) too. It was the best one MetroPCS had about three years ago. Unless I break it I doubt I'll be buying a new one anytime soon. Very easy to root and once rooted you can delete all the crap that the carrier has installed and locked (uninstallable) on the phone. And I can use the rooted phone as a tether in a pinch if I need to - I've done that several times - which the carrier doesn't allow. I really like the Samsung Note! Huge screen and great specs (RAM is a bit skimpy though). Unless LG comes out with one very similar I'll get the Note when I need a new phone.

I have the best dentist now. I had to get a filling last week. He will do them without numbing. I was kinda surprised the first time he said he could do it without numbing but then I was sold. I would much rather feel it and not deal with the needle and that numb feeling. He will stop and give me numbing if I need it but I never have yet. He also let me bring my Daycare kids every Halloween. We dress them up in their trick or treat costumes and he gives them treat bags with tooth brushes and tooth paste.

I love my Android S4 too. I have a personal one and one for work. Love them! Crazy day today filled with lovely mammograms and ultrasounds, and some extra time with my kids, so at least the entire day wasn't all crap. Food was very sporadic and unplanned. Numbers still seem okay though.... WI today 158.8. Down .4!

Last week I even caught myself breathing all the way out and getting on the scale before taking a breath again.

I sleep tonight in my own bed. Yea! I am taking my scale home and leaving it there for the long term. Over here at Mom's all it does is go up. I'll be weighing on Friday mornings weekly for a while as the plan is to be at home every Thursday night. Time to give the brain a rest about this whole weight business. Like Robin mentioned about herself, I am at the outer edge of comfort for my clothes. No thought here of buying more. I refuse.

I was feeling good yesterday thinking all day that my pants were really loose. I thought alright! Then oldest DD came in and said Mom, do you have on my work pants? That was my last clean pair?!!? ummm oops! They were a size bigger than the pair I usually wear, no wonder.
