Weigh-in this morning... 173.7 for point seven down finally breaking the six day 174s roll I was on which was very weird for me for WIs. And it went down after three days of 3500 plus calories that even makes me, Mr. Anti-CICO, stare a bit. I guess the steak bribe worked. And Cheryl's creamed cauliflower

I love my Android S4 too. I have a personal one and one for work. Love them! Crazy day today filled with lovely mammograms and ultrasounds, and some extra time with my kids, so at least the entire day wasn't all crap. Food was very sporadic and unplanned. Numbers still seem okay though.... WI today 158.8. Down .4! Nice!! Hope all tests come back with good news! Ugh, I suppose I should start the whole squish test thingy.

hi all! WI was 188 - last night went home and didn't measure my dinner but had a couple pc's of bacon (maybe like 3) from Luckys that my boyfriend bought for us to try - it was insanely good, nitrate free from the deli; omg, i wanna be rich to eat that bacon daily!!! a few slices of mushrooms that i fried with the bacon grease; it was DELICIOUS. about 1/2 an avo with spinach and some greek dressing (0 carb but has dreaded soybean oil, ick) but dang it was a yummy salad with that avo! had probably .75oz of provolone cheese since i took a little chunk when adding some slices to my boyfriends dinner. mmm good stuff! later i kinda wanted to eat from stress but miraculously nothing sounded good to eat; i even have some yummy CC in my fridge! so i had a few pickles and called it a night. they were cold and crunchy and so delightful! was down .6 from yesterday. didn't workout at all yesterday. tonight we get our new/used treadmill so will prob be doin some HIIT on it, yay! burn some fat baby! we found a used galaxy s3 for my boyfriend on ebay and ordered it; hope it works! it says network is CDMA but the guy said it should work fine with GSM since quad something blah blah but if it doesn't pick up the 3g data we can return for a full refund, yay! plus ebay has the money back guarantee if i'm unhappy w/ the buy so that's also good. he's going to put his s3 on straight talk too, his current phn is JUNKY and i'm excited for him to upgrade! good times! had 1 oz of macadamia nuts for meal 1 today at 9a. now it's going on noon and i'm sipping on my decaf/butter/cinnamon/MCT/HWC concoction - mmm good stuff. thinking about running out to pay a bill and hardees is tempting me with their bacon burger...don't really want to spend the $$$ so may run into gerbes deli and grab some salami, that sounds good too...my MFP is off by 100 calories versus my spreadsheet that i use to calc the %, how annoying. my totals today are 90g fat, 4 prot, 11 carb (used 2.5 oz HWC and count 1 carb per serv....1/2oz is 1 serv so 5 serv...ugg 5 carbs) and 2 carbs in my cinnamon, 4 in the nuts. almost out of my nuts so won't have those very often, too $$$. MFP says 770 cals but if you do the math for fat/prot/carbs it totals 870 cals so that's what i'm going with...so yeah, that's my day so far...hope you all have a GREAT keto day!!
so far still also refusing to buy bigger pants! can breath a little more than i could the other day when i was up over 190, so that's good!

I broke down and bought a pair of work slacks in my current size. I hate spending the money but really needed a new pair of work pants. Hopefully I will be able to give them away soon.

Mammograms AND ultrasounds??? Are you ok???
Thanks, Cheryl! And yes, I'm fine. My family has close cases of breast cancer, so the doctors figure that I'm a good candidate to poke and prod consistently to make sure I don't have it. I have a hunch that it's backwards thinking, given all the radiation, but I still go and let them check.

I sleep tonight in my own bed. Yea! I am taking my scale home and leaving it there for the long term. Over here at Mom's all it does is go up. I'll be weighing on Friday mornings weekly for a while as the plan is to be at home every Thursday night. Time to give the brain a rest about this whole weight business. Like Robin mentioned about herself, I am at the outer edge of comfort for my clothes. No thought here of buying more. I refuse. Nope! No buying bigger clothes here either!!!

My calories have been pretty high the last few days. I am doing a little experimenting. Since I am trying to become NK adapted again I am keeping the carbs lower. This morning I was just gonna have some CO and coffee but I started freezing. I decided to have some egg yolks and bacon with butter to see if it would warm me up. Within 10 minutes I had warmed up (except for my feet, and I have on 2 pairs of thick socks already). I was glad to discover this. Lately I had been adding in carbs to warm myself up. Already surpassed 600 calories now. Does anyone else freeze to death? Sometimes I just blame it on this terrible winter. It is snowing AGAIN!

I too have been blaming terrible winter. it's barely above 30 every morning and i have 2 big windows (which I love) in my office so I'm always freezing...I'm usually warm right when I wake up but that's it.

WI 187 down 1 lb from yesterday. Last night started TOM and almost ate CC for the heck of it but went to bed instead. After work I had to run to the store for my mom so I also picked up hard salami and baby bell white cheddars. I pigged out and ate 207g of salami and 3 baby bells. My totals yesterday: fat 179 protein 60 carbs 18 83.77535101 % 12.48049922 % 3.744149766 % Total Cals 1923 3,990 sodium this morning so far having my coffee. trying something new - chaokoh coconut milk in my BPC; 1 tbsp KG butter, .5 tsp cinn and 3.06 tbsp MCT oil. I think this MCT oil is really helping to supress my appetite and i'm not really having a lot of PMS symptoms. i'm also never down 1 lb the morning after the night of starting my TOM. I have had the big D (sorry TMI!) the last few nights in a row but it wasn't awful so at least I'm going...and I'm not over doing the mag citrate as I've only been remembering to take 1 pill 2x a day so feel like i need to up my mag but don't want my stomach to be like WTH! tonight is date night - going for dinner, planning to have 2 eggs/4 bacon and decaf with HH and cinn...not sure what to do for the movie...will have to figure something out...don't really want a LC prot bar and don't want the SF candy that are so tempting but make me nervous it isn't good for NK with all them darn sugar alchs. maybe just take my MCT oil w/ me and put some in my coffee and that will get me through wanting to snack at the movie. have a great keto day you guys!

I put a sliding glass door and 3 huge windows in my Daycare. I love it except for when it is so cold and since the dancer is on the North side of the house this was probably a bad idea. I bought insulated drapes and have had them closed most of the winter. This has been the coldest winter we have had in a very very long time. But woohoo gonna be in the 60's this weekend and 70 Tuesday.

I am physically cold year round usually--A/C does it, too. Woke up at home this morning which is good since that is where I went to bed. Did my weekly weigh-in as that is what I am adopting now. I am looking forward to next Friday when the number isn't so high. ha! I found a beginner's HIIT workout online. Nothing fancy and no equipment required. At this point, my success is merely doing it on Friday mornings. Am I terrifically out of shape? Well, yes. This morning has proved that to me. That's okay. I am remembering it is the doing-anything once a week that is important for now. The rest will come. www.fitnessblender.com/v/workout-detail/Body-Firming-HIIT-Workout-for-Beginners-Beginner-HIIT-Home-Workout-Routine/a5/For mammagraphy, ask your doc about thermography. No smashing and it is actually more effective in identifying cancer. It isn't standard of care yet but hopefully it will come. Perhaps you have forward thinking docs who know how much more effective it is and your health insurance will pay for it. We had some sunshine yesterday, didn't get down to freezing at all, mid50s to mid60s through the weekend and into next week. Hopefully the rain that is predicted will come. We need those spring showers. Pam Robin, I know you can train yourself over time so that eating at the movie isn't required nor even wanted. Sure, it'll take time but you are one your way!

I guess I'm lucky-DH won't put movie theatre butter on the popcorn and I don't like it dry so I've trained myself long time ago to not snack at the theatre. However, I do usually buy a $24.00 large diet coke. It's so expensive! Been thinking of taking the kids to see Frozen but sometimes I'm really cheap.

TGIF!! The sun is shining and 53 deg. I've SO missed the sun! Thursday's numbers: Cals: 1830 Fat: 153.57 Carbs: 51.74 Prot: 54.51 B- Coffee w/ HWC & CO L- Salad bar w/ ham & egg D- grilled salmon, veggies, tartar sauce S- pepperoni, 1-mini milky way (only 7 carbs-was surprised), coleslaw About 2:30 yesterday I was so tired almost fell asleep at my desk. Grabbed one mini milky way bar (smaller than "fun sized") and it perked me right up. It was the coleslaw that killed my carbs. Fell asleep on the couch last night. Woke around 2:30am and went to bed. Was too lazy to get up on time (cuddling w/ DH & doggie) I didn't have time for my coffee bummer. Just diet coke until lunch. Going to try a different salad bar place because they have grilled chicken too. Hopefully I will bypass the pizza part. Have a happy weekend!!!

Mystery shopping a Subway today. I usually don't eat the bread but today I did! Looked up the carb count: 40. This isn't a good sign for me. I've had peanut butter in the past two weeks and now bread. That is as rogue as I can get and it must end now.

Looks good I wish they'd have done a side shot of the ski squats with kicks to show her sitting back into the squats making sure her knees don't go past her toes. I noticed that her grip is wide on the traveling push ups. I'd say to try to do the grip about shoulder width to help develop biceps and triceps. Wide grip works the chest a bit more, which is good and I do those on purpose, but biceps and triceps a probably better to try to develop sooner rather than later. This workout looks good too: LinkThey really do a good job on their videos. Probably some of the best quality I've seen on youtube.
