Thanks for the input Darin. I don't actually get on the floor. I do the push-ups again a wall. Sure, not getting as much workout but if I have to get on the floor then I am not going to do it so what I am doing is better than nothing. I aware of my form and do know about squats not well done if the knees go over the feet. I do appreciate the reminder.

I noticed yesterday after eating the bread I had a bit of stomach upset for a while--an hour maybe. I slept in until 6:30 this morning (yea!), feel a little sore but not much, and I am feeling free because there isn't a scale for me to get on this morning here. Back to my chosen NK way of eating today.

From what I've learned about exercise for health it is singular for dealing with stress. I mean, physiologically not just the mental diversion and the addictive feel good endorphins.

It's great for you to have been paying attention to what happens regularly for the scale that these things are not unexpected.

I got a myo tape tape measure for $2.00 yesterday. There is a drug store that is being bought out by Walgreens, they had all their store brand and some other stuff marked down 75%. I almost bought a blood glucose monitor for $5.00. I may go back and see if any are left. I didn't know how much help it would really be to me so I didn't get it. It was the precision ultra (or maybe xtra, something like that). They a few different kinds on clearance. No test strips, I guess they would be better to get online?

No idea on the BG meters.

Weigh-in this morning... 175.7 for a point three bump. Pattern contrary, it is unusual to bump on this day but I did eat a heck of a lot yesterday, and the day before and the day before heh. Veni, vidi, lardi. I'm still trying to get my head around turning the Big Three Oh last week eighteen years ago.
Seriously though, my appetite has been weird for weeks and weeks. Some days I feel like eating all day long and some days I have to be conscientious about keeping my calories up. Yesterday was one of those all day long type days. Something screwy with leptin and ghrelin I reckon. I think it is probably from shorting myself on sleep so I am going to try to get to bed earlier.

Weight today is a whooping 158.2! Hmmmm. Three pounds in two days is a big bounce. How's life around the homestead? Well, I don't know. I do not feel stressed at all. There is a cloud of negativity hanging in the air but I am pretty well able to brush that bad chi off of me and can get away from it. Thank GOD! The weather has been all over the map too. Snow on Thursday night and Friday then 68F yesterday. I had a headache all day yesterday and started up again today. Maybe the barometric pressure from the weather or something. Last night I noticed my legs and feet were swollen. Just little stuff that ya don't really pay attention to until you pay attention.

The Precision Xtra is the one that measures both blood sugar, as well as blood ketones. You just have to buy different strips for each. I have it and like it well enough....Yes, I bought my strips on-line from a Canadian pharmacy. cool on the tape measure!

Yes, don't change a thing Kristin since it is working. Yea! Thanks, Pam! I'm trying really hard to stick to being consistent. Today's been a little different....I had a different breakfast than my fat/protein shake.....and the carbs have been higher too because of it!! Crazy how much my body just loves that shake....

No real workout since Tuesday, I think. It was too busy for a couple of days and then I sort of "forgot" the other couple of days. Guess I'll get back to something tomorrow.....just to continue in the way this week went.
Today's WI 157.2. Up .4, but that's fine, given all that I ate yesterday!!!

You're doing great Kristin. Remember going up and down is normal. Days on end straight down on the scale isn't typical and not to be expected. I am excited for you!
