Storytha... Were the chips good? If so, what brand?
I'm surprised by how much I don't miss bread, but I can't seem to lose the urge for crunch. I've been low enough on my carbs some days that those chips just might work in my plan. :0)

pork rinds are great for a crunch, just not sure how "healthy" they are; found some this last weekend with 2 ingredients at the gas station - pork skin and salt. the bbq kind have a million ingred's - ew! also loving unswt shredded coconut - not really crunchy but has a nice texture, they have some that isn't finely shredded at nat grocers that I randomly came across and LOVING it! it's much bigger pieces and it's yum!

Thanks Pam, I may stay away from eggs for a while. I feel a bit better this am. my feet and legs hurt so bad yesterday evening I thought I would never get to sleep but I did and they only woke me up a few times. I may have just been exhausted too. IDK? Hope you all have a blessed and wonderful day.

Hey - anyone start feeling a little down in the dumps about a week after starting this WoE? I find that I'm feeling tired and a little down, but it could be allergies or other things. Trying to rule stuff out...

Trying to rule stuff out... Not sure about NK but I felt horrible for a while after starting LC. Took me 6 weeks on NK then I started feeling great. I think it effects some of differently. I hope you start feeling better.

Trying to rule stuff out... This is weird, but make sure you are getting lots of sodium. Especially when you start this WOE depletes your sodium. A nice mug of beef broth will help buoy your spirits. Add a little butter to it also. SOOO yum!

I've been low enough on my carbs some days that those chips just might work in my plan. :0) It was Beanitoes original black bean with sea salt. They had others like nacho flavored. But I knew I was going to be using them for dip. They're "ok". Mouth feel of regular tortilla chips. Love the crunch, especially with dip. But the flavor is off enough that I would never sit down and eat the whole bag! (Which is another good thing.). I'm keeping it a once in a while splurge for mental happiness!

Thanks, Clueless. It hit out of the blue and it's definitely not the ToM. I'll keep on chugging though. I already feel so much better physically that I know it's worth it.
Storytha... I love sodium. And I love butter. Lol I'm going to try your suggestion when I get up from a quick nap (took the afternoon off before things get crazy at work again).
So glad for this forum; helps to have a support group who has gone through this. Hugs to everyone and a second round just for reddarin.
