The Super Bowl party food I ate spiked the scale about 3 pounds. Too much cheese generally. Now on Thursday, I've undone all that and back in the 120s this morning. Didn't eat until noon two days in a row and was reasonable with food both days....no constant eating at Mom's. My first goal is to jettison three pounds down to 126. Likeable things happen to my body at the number.
We've had snow today--teeny bit--and at 11:15 it is still 26 degrees. This is not my kind of Texas weather.

Thank you, reddarin. I'll look for it this weekend.
I did find the source of my body's inflammation. My right rotator cuff (shoulder) is giving me pain again today. Back on the anti-inflammatories for a week.
Yesterday was horrible. Bad night, crappy day at work, ended the day in tears in my bed early.
I caved to fast food for lunch due to work stress/frustration. Comfort eating. I made up for it at dinner and had king crab legs w/ butter-YUM!
But today is a new day. A good day! I had a great night's sleep! Having my wonderful Coffee w/ HWC & CO which is becoming my new comfort food. Today I have my food planned all out so there won't be any on the road surprises. I'm looking forward to putting yesterday behind me.

Hadn't given thought to what might make the big money in Vegas. Super Bowl weekend makes perfect sense.

Does anyone make their own ice cream? My girls have both gone LC and lost plenty. They look great. Of course they can eat more carbs than me and still see nice results. Their indulgence is ice cream. Thing is some of the ice creams have an awful lot of crap in them and they tend to break my oldest DD out. Breyers seems safe for her but only a few flavors. I thought about getting an ice cream maker but I don't know where to start. I saw a few recipe books that were for healthier ice cream but man alive, it is only available on kindle and $15. Geez, that is a big investment when you aren't sure if you want to get into making it yourself.

Hi Darin! I've only tried the chocolate and vanilla. I like them both! I wonder if the strawberry flavor is good? I've put frozen strawberries in the Six Star chocolate flavor (and the vanilla flavor) and that was really good. Especially with some 90% chocolate bar thrown in too.
