Weigh-in this morning... 177.6 for a point five drop. I doubt today will continue the lower calorie trend I've been on for the last couple of days. I'm marinating some country style pork ribs in that Allegro Hot and Spicy stuff and that meat is so dang tasty when it comes out of the oven. The time before last I used some Stubbs Pork Spice Rub I picked up at the store. Meh. It was okay fresh out off the grill but the leftovers were not tasty so don't waste your money on that stuff.

Is DeDe the only one so far not to get sick? She had a bit of a cold or allergies before the last epidemic. My sis called yesterday and she had come down with it. She was around us last weekend. Katie ate a flax wrap this am. I had made 3 wraps and put 1 egg in the mix. She started breaking out on her hand and her mouth swelled up and crying with her back hurting. Sorry doc, but I don't believe your egg allergy test came back right.

Hi Everyone! Remember me? Sorry that I disappeared for so long. I don't have much to report. I'm still doing NK, still keeping my weight steady around 131-132, still doing body weights. I'm looking forward to catching up on what's been going on around here. Hope that you are all well and happy!

thanks for the responses to my post good ideas - will def be talking with him about helping me workout but in a less stressful way. seems like when it rains it pours - today my dog started acted strange - threw up and got real tense. he's calmed down now and snuggled up so think he will be ok - maybe just too much commotion when my SO's kiddos got here - ringing the doorbell nonstop and banging on the door got him all riled up as usual so you'd think he'd be used to it after 1.5 yr...also the stupid neighbors in our duplex painted something in their garage - filled our house with fumes; smelled awful so I go outside and he's standing there with like a double mask of some kind on his face like he was in a nuclear war or something geez and he was like oh i'm sorry i'm painting this blah blah; UGH! thanks buddy. how annoying! thought maybe tito got sick from the fumes..we have our windows open and it doesn't really smell anymore so that's a good thing. anyways - my mom comes home from the hosp today - she will be going in for surgery 11/1 we think. heading over there today with my son to help her clean the house and do whatever she needs. WI this morning was like 182.6 I think - over 182 but under 183 - didn't really commit to memory lol...so far today just had a big iced coffee with HH and some SF creamer...roughly 265 calories so far today: 21 fat; 12 carbs; 4 prot. gettin ready to find somethin to eat...slim pickins cuz oh yay our stove/oven stopped working - bright side is we rent and let the landlord know so hopefully they don't take long to get it resolved. put some beef ribs in crock pot at like 630a on low so those will be my dinner - don't look like much meat on them but should be good ok think i'm done ramblin! hope y'all have a great day!

My work put out a full spread for the lunch meeting, and the main course was lasagna. I ate grilled veggies, salad, and lasagna. Then I had a cupcake for dessert. I probably got kicked out of ketosis, but I'm not going to worry about it. I'll just have to be careful over the next few days. You have been adapted a long time. I am betting it won't be that big of a hit to you. Hope you enjoyed the lunch Well, I compounded the damage by drinking half a bottle of wine last night. That probably did not help my allergy symptoms either. I don't have much of an appetite today, so I'm just going to stick with protein shakes and carry on.

cHECKING IN..... again!!!!
No loss for this last month. Lady friend and I have had too many losses this month. When you get old, your friends start to die and you must be there and cope.
Good to see some are losing weight. For others, good to see you are staying the course. If you havent lost weight, you should look at what goals you have set for yourself and reconfigure!
Good Luck with your weight loss goals!!!
Have a great weight loss experience!!!!!!

I can tell her personally speaking that it is weird to not eat eggs after eating them for 40 some odd years but I don't miss them much if at all. It could just be the whites that bother her like with me. But I never got the symptoms she is getting.

Thanks Cheryl! Yes, I'm doing a lot better in that regard. It still happens occasionally, but not as often. Drinking really salty broth seems to keep my blood pressure a little higher and help a lot. I read about some of your daughter's woes. I sure hope that they figure out what's going on, and that she feels better soon! Hi Darin! Hi Everybody!

gretalyn I discovered how to induce glute cramps with the perfect combination of two bodyweight exercises I just saw that - sorry that happened! I know a good stretch for that if it happens again. Google "yoga pigeon pose" but do NOT do it on the floor like they show, with one leg extended behind you. Stand in front of a table, and put one leg on the table in front of you just like you would for pigeon pose, and slowly and gently begin to bend forward over that leg. Hope that makes sense. But basically, instead of one leg extended behind you as in the traditional yoga pose, you're standing on that leg, and only bending the other one in front of you on the table. Butt cramps are amusing in retrospect, but not when they're happening! They HURT!

I am not the first person to experience that!! We'll start every meeting of our Butt Cramps Support Group with Michael Jackson's "You are not alone".

Now that is kinda surprising, not that you don't keep us on our toes with your trampoline inspired hijinks. But geez, you were 179 just a day or two ago. :dance:Way to go!

Fitday's food logger is still down The main page is available but the rest of the site seems to be off line. And there is no mention of the outage on the home page so I bet they are frantically trying to fix whatever the problem is. I noticed on the home page that the only images are of women so I reckon that says it all about the demographics of people that use the site. There's me, a guy, and 17 million women. lol
