Thanks Cheryl! Yes, I'm doing a lot better in that regard. It still happens occasionally, but not as often. Drinking really salty broth seems to keep my blood pressure a little higher and help a lot. I read about some of your daughter's woes. I sure hope that they figure out what's going on, and that she feels better soon! Hi Darin! Hi Everybody! Thank you Greatlyn, she is already feeling a lot better. Glad you found the salty broth helps.

Weigh in this morning was 173 - don't remember if that is up or down, because I've been bouncing around so much. I thought I would be more bloated after the carb fest on Friday. I guess the key is not to cheat for more than 1 day after being keto adapted, if you're going to do it at all. I think it also helps to know how ones blood sugar reacts to carbs. I learned from the testing I did a few months ago that my blood sugar does not go out of normal range even after a high carb meal. If I went back to eating high carb all the time that would likely change, but I'm not about to take that chance. I still have half a bottle of wine left, I think I'll use it to marinate round steak for dinner.

good morning all! skipped WI so not sure where i'm at but feelin pretty good this morning - stopped at McD's and got 3 side orders of bacon (6 pc's total) mmm and a large black coffee - got to work added HWC and splenda mmm. bought these REALLY cheap (on clearance at GNC) protein drinks - they're like a chocolate shake mmm so good - 180 calories 25g prot 6 carbs; can't remember fat but anyway they were like 12 bottles for $6! I bought 2 boxes and my SO bought 8 LoL...he loves a good protein deal. our oven/stove still out of order so brought in 2 of those shakes and THEN i bought some thinkThin bars at Gerbes/Kroger the other day - on sale 10/$10; i picked up 3 for me and 3 for SO; tried one last night and ooo emm gee so good; 0 sugar, 20g prot, gluten free, but ugg they range from like 22-24 carbs! 1 fiber, 0 sugar, 12 sugar alch and "other carb" 9 - the flavor today is caramel fudge; had a brownie crunch last night - insane. I feel like i'm in ketosis this morning - no major hunger/cravings but eating kinda rich/sweet stuff today so hope doesn't throw me off. will def not exceed 50g carb and counting the full 23g carb in my think thin bar...a few from bacon, few from HWC (didn't have much left at work), 12 from prot shakes...and like 80g prot or more and fat should be decent with the bacon/hwc. it will be a good day! planning to IF since feelin so good have a GREAT tues y'all!!

I took yoga years ago, but I certainly don't have your level of expertise about it! I don't remember swan pose - thanks for mentioning it. I'll have to look it up.

hey there i'm done eating! woo! don't have to think about food until tomorrow - nice! about to go get me some pickle juice now here are my stats for today: fat 128 protein 78 carbs 46 69.90291262 % 18.93203883 % 11.16504854 % roughly 1650 calories Tomorrow will cut back on carbs...glad to know like 10 of those are sugar alch...those don't seem to kill my progress too much so yeah...seems really carby today but glad not to hit or exceed the 50 but a little stress from seeing 46 when I def prefer to see it in the 20s range! we are hopefully getting our stove repaired Thurs so that will help eating get more on track (less prepackaged protein with the stove).
