I kno ..that was my high point for the weekend too! Just too busy to eat so would graze when I could.Things have settled down a bit so am going to get up there tomorrow. Didn't realize I wasn't eating enough. That's the "problem" with this way of eating I'm never hungry. Good night and sweet dream all Oh Victlady, I just love your photo! Beautiful! : It is a good problem after starving on other diets isn't it. Sure is.On WW all I did was think of food and what I wasn't going to eat next..It was horrible..always felt crummy went back to Atkins settled right in and was invited to this wonderful group. Never looked back. Darin, awhile ago you posted a link for me about taking apple cider vinegar I believe it was a blog.Do you have the link? Also is there a place for links on this site? Thanx Christine Lisa created a thread a few months ago for LC related links: nkevolution.freeforums.net/thread/72/low-carb-websites-blogsThe ACV post you are speaking of was this one, right? Have questions again..CO love the taste but gives indigestion/ heart burn do you eat with a meal..cut back? Sounds like a problem with low stomach acid. You can test that possibility by taking some apple cider vinegar and if the symptoms subside it is from low acid. Google 'low stomach acid apple cider vinegar' for how much to use. Also, Jimmy Moore has a super podcast with Dr. Avery Carpenter and she covers this issue too: livinlavidalowcarb.com/blog/the-llvlc-show-episode-629-dr-avery-carpenter-identifies-how-to-overcome-low-carb-diet-difficulties/16361The part about low stomach acid starts right at 8m30s. She describes how to use ACV for it. I don't but I think the whey isolate is the version that produces a much lower insulin response. Those fat bombs can be amazingly good

Weigh in today 150. Has the cold bug run its course around there? How's Katie doing? Seems like it has, knock on wood. Katie finished up her meds yesterday and is doing a lot better. She is watching what she eats very closely. She did get a tad of the shakes yesterday but has not had any hives since the small bit she had Saturday morning.

I haven't weighed in the last few days, probably not going to until Saturday. Ragweed pollen is still making my allergies flare up, but not so bad that it keeps me from working. That's a good thing! I've fallen back in the habit of drinking diet soda, after having mostly given it up. The 20 oz bottles in the vending machine at work are only a dollar. At least I can make one bottle last for 2 days. victlady, I tried WW years ago and all it did was make me (more) obsessed with food. I don't think I lost any weight even when I stuck with the stupid points.

Not much to report. Weight holding steady, which is the whole idea for me at this point. I overindulged in some sugar-free, lower-carb peanut butter cookies last night, but it happens and I'm not too worried about getting back on track today. In fact, I think my total carb count for the day was still within established limits, just toward the upper end of the limit. Congrats to all of you who are seeing progress, and I'm including non-scale victories in that! For me, I count holding steady as "making progress".

you are holding strong. I noticed I have had several consecutive days in the 176's which is very pleasing. But if I am going to tread water I'd just as soon tread it at 3000+ calories like I was the last few weeks lol.

I have been hanging out in the same 2 to 3 lb range for a good while now. It is a lot more fun at 1800 calories than at 1200. Lol. But boy am I stuffed.

I've decided that I cannot be trusted near a batch of those peanut butter cookies. They set me up for a day of cheating and intense cravings. What a mess I made of my diet! And all because of a "legal" food, too. MUST do better today!
