I did see a nice set of weights last week. It was a set of dumbells with a few extra weights. They were pretty much brand new. I didn't ask a price. I saw a bench one week too. It is all pot luck at yard sales. Ya never know what you are gonna find. That is what makes it so much fun. DD got an Ipod touch for $3.00. We don't know if that one works or not yet. She has to get a charger from her friend. I found one of those wall mountable Koala changing tables, the kind you find in public bathrooms, a few weeks back. They run over $150.00. Got it for $3.00 Was it this kind of changing table?

It is a shame that New Years is in the dead of winter. If it was like mid-May it would be a super cheap weight/exercise equipment bonanza heh. I bet most of the stuff you are seeing now was bought the first week of January.

I have met some cool people at yard sales too. A few weeks ago this guy gave me a Reiki session, right there at the yard sale. My kids thought I was nuts. lol When we got home they told my hubby that I was letting some strange man touch me at a yard sale. :rofl:LOL Hmmm. I am gonna try that at my first yard sale. "Ma'am, would you like a free Ricky session???" A total laugh out loud moment. Too funny. Love you Darin.

They especially liked the part where he broke out into prayer, right there, with a yard full of people. I thought my kids were gonna crawl under a table. But I will tell you that I barely have any goiter left at all. It is super small. Something is helping it. It's probably all that prayer.

Weigh-in this morning ... 187.8 for a point five bounce but still firmly ensconced in 187 land. I'm actually a little jazzed about that because I was bouncing up to the 188s and 189s last week

Man, I am so glad we have this board. I know for a fact that posting here is what keeps me on track. It is better than any weight watchers meetings you hit up once a week. It is all about that accountability! My little sabotaging brain will go "hey Cheryl, just have a glass of wine. You can make up for it tomorrow. Go ahead. And who cares if you eat too much." Then I think well I would have to post it on NKE. And I don't have that glass of wine. I know that you guys are here cheering me on and you keep me motivated and encouraged to keep losing. If you are lurking on this board take my word for it, you should start posting your numbers. It is an accountability factor that really motivates me.

I slept in this morning and didn't eat my first meal until after noon. I made migas with 2 eggs, 2 corn tortillas, salsa verde, shredded Mexican cheese blend, and sour cream. Kind of carb-y but I'm allowing myself up to 50 g per day.
