If you need to bid them up tell them you have an anonymous buyer in Texas that has bid $1,000,000 dollars so they better get 'em before the check clears. I may take ya up on that.

funny reddarin. I have drug the water heater to the corner. Used a towel under it to keep it from scratching my kitchen wood floor. Turned it end or over end to get it out the door and down the three steps there. Walked it to the edge of the porch then let it slide down the three steps to the street. I wrestled it a little bit so that it could lie there out of the way until the garbage folks will pick it up on their Wednesday run. A metal scrapper might pick it up then--people are always trolling--but they will have no help from me with that I don't think. Guess it is time to commit to purchasing a new one now. EDIT: Later. And I did. www.globalindustrial.com/g/plumbing/water-heaters/Tankless-Water-Heaters-Gas/ecotemp-tankless-gas-heatersOught to be here by the end of next week latest. Still give me time to install/test it before I have a guest in my home on Thanksgiving. They might want hot water. Ha! Way a go Pam!

Hopefully reasonable priced doesn't equal cheaply made. Ha!

Hopefully reasonable priced doesn't equal cheaply made. Ha! I searched 'eccotemp water heater' on Amazon and it seems to be a quality brand with very good reviews of 4.5+ stars. It looks to me like you made a great choice

Well, I stumbled into something good then. I have a friend with this saying "Even a blind hog can find a acorn every once in a while." I found an acorn!

Weigh-in this morning 177.8 and down one point eight. Finally the dawn has broken after the long night of 178.x. 178.x ties for first place with 191.x at twelve days for longest string of rolling four week lowest weigh-in. I don't think that would have been the case if not for my mysteriously swollen ankle which now appears to be completely back to normal.

Hello All, Sorry for my absence. I’m usually quiet during the weekend but ended up with the stomach flu Monday. I’m back at work today and going to try to make it to noon at least (It’s payroll day). You’d think I would have lost more than -0.6 for all of that.
My numbers were crappy since I was sick and had no appetite.
Rejoicealways8: DH SOOOO wants a tank less Water heater, but we don’t have gas. And Yay on the drop down. Reddarren: Congrats on breaking the 178 zone and the ankle back to normal. I get that in my right ankle too. Gretalyn: Congrats on the 2# drop. I think you’re on the right track for your own health. Clueless: That is wonderful for you and Dede! I would love to see pics of your show.
Have a great Wednesday

Have a great Wednesday It is hard to impossible to lose weight when your body is fighting an illness even if you hardly eat at all. "I get that in my right ankle too" ??? Do you? Have you discovered any contributing factors or is it just as mysterious for you? That is the first time it has happened to me.

I noticed it around the beginning of starting Atkins Feb 2012, but was also at my heaviest weight. I've found 3 different triggers: my hormones are out of balance due to forgetting to take my pills(probably not your contributing factor), Sodium too high (like 5000g) with too little water, or too much alcohol over a weekend (kidney's fighting back). It takes 2-3 days of water flush it out. Used to be only in my one right foot/ankle, but now it goes to both. I think I posted a picture once. Sucks and looks weird.

I thought it might be sodium too. I almost always have two chicken bouillon cubes every day so I quit that for a couple of days. I figured even if it wasn't causing the problem it couldn't be helping.

Friends potluck last night. I avoided the cornbread, the sweets. But did eat too much food that included things like chili loaded with beans and fruit salad. My carb count surely shot through the sky. I was miserable for a while last night. No scale for me this morning.

I was messing around online last night looking for weight-lifting information and motivation, and found this: stronglifts.comIn the second video on this page, he argues that the standard advice for doing squats (don't go lower than the point where your thighs are parallel to the floor) is dead wrong, and that you absolutely must go down to the point where your hips are lower than your knees. I'm going to try it today (just with bodyweight until I get the hang of it) and see how it feels. He makes a good argument, so we'll see. stronglifts.com/squat/#Squat_Form_101

Wednesday's numbers:
Cals 1296 Fat 77.54 Carbs 44.41 Prot 106.79
WI 279.0
Am researching Island resorts to keep my mind off wanting to cheat with Mexican food for lunch. IF I lose this weight, I get to go to a warm sandy beach area with lots of margaritas next October. Puerto Rico looks nice.
DH brought out more candy last night and I yelled at him. I felt very left out and denied. At least I made my feelings known. But he never listens! I told him I didn't want to buy a new dinning room table until next spring and so what does he do? Spends all night on Craigslist, etc looking at tables and reading their ads out to me. SIGH! I think I need a girls night out!
EDIT: I had a huge taco salad for lunch and feel much better. I should eat before I post here Hangry.
