Weigh in today 148.8. The cold moved to my chest today and my neck is very sore. Maybe this will clear up pretty soon. That last one stayed in my head for weeks. Hopefully when I get this cold on out of the way I will see a loss. Please take 1 gram of good quality vitamin C every hour or two until you feel some relief. When I get the first hint of anything, I take 1 gram every hour I'm awake until I know I'm on the mend. Then I take 1 gram every 3 hrs as it doest stay in our bodies much longer than that. The worse thing that can happen if you take more than your body can tolerate is you get loose stool. I buy Dr's Best Quali-C as the vitamin C is NOT from China, but Scotland. You've had this crud too long. I know you have little ones, but all the more that you need to boost your immune system on a regular basis..... I have been taking about 10 g of Swanson's brand a day. I will try one an hour and see if that helps. Thanks

Today's log: 1910 calories, 156 g fat, 96 g protein, 30 g carbs. I think this is the closest I've gotten to 2,000 calories and stayed low carb.
Breakfast - bacon and eggs, coffee with hwc
Snack - Greek yogurt
Lunch - sausage & cauliflower soup, chocolate cream cheese mousse
Dinner - rotel dip and pork rinds

Good morning everyone! well up another pound today......which I expected, ( had a lot of salt yesterday)....but even if I expected it .....I don't like it . Am beginning to feel slightly better......it is so not worth it.....next time I get stressed ........ I'll have a vodka!!! Have a good week everybody. Take care and blessings! x

Morning everyone. Weigh in - up a smidge to 197.8 Feel a bit like I'm holding water, but not sure why. I did drink a couple glasses with lemon juice in them yesterday to help with the water feeling. Off to work.....Have a great day!

Weigh in today 148.6. Been up since 1 am nursing a sore throat and runny nose. Luckily I had made some bone broth yesterday so I have been sipping some broth. Poor Baby. Have had this thing for 2 mos now..came back on me I blamed it on caregiving stress but seems as though it's being passed around. Tried the homeopathic route and succumbed to convention meds last week just so I can function. When you run your own business there are no days off! Been really trying to stay on NK and maintaining at least. Weather here bad too..stay warm and healthy everybody Hugs

Hi everyone! No scale so not sure what my WI is lately...know it wasn't pretty a few days ago but my belly looks MUCH better this eve...I was binge eating on LC Prot bars for a few days; went all out...now I work to get that off and repeat, right? No, just kidding...the goal is to stay on track, I don't think I was WAY off track since still eating pretty LC in general. Today's been a great day and yesterday was so-so; I'm back at the hosp with my mom and brought my son this round. We got here Sat and plan to hopefully return home tomorrow; my kid loves missing school and he's being unbelievable good while being here; it's crazy! Today I had some scrambled eggs, bacon and 1/2 pc of sausage; the good thing about hosp food is the nutrition labels on stuff in the cafeteria so it was 0g carb sausage supposedly. Last night I almost bought a big 'ol turkey leg they had avail...read the nutr label just in case...ummm how is turkey leg going to have 42g carb!?!? I asked and they said, yeah we asked about that too and must be what they inject into it - are you kidding me!? I would have DIED if I ate that then later saw the carb count! for lunch today had 2 hard boiled eggs all cut up and mixed w/ mustard. Been doing great today with water intake...taking some herbalife supplements/vitamins and like the way they make me feel so that's good; not doing any meal replacements and will be sellin the ones I did get to a friend - they just have too much garbage in them; I am always a sucker for fun packaging, etc so yeah, bad purchase, oh well, one of these days "I will learn anyway, hope everyone is doing well and hope the keto rockin for us all! Hi everyone! Have a great night!! Robin, YOu're under lots of stress, out of routine and doing the best you can. Many others wouldn't be able to stay as close as you are. Don't beat yourself up. Read the labels, and try to maintain if you can. Hope your mom is doing better and you will all be back in your homes and under much less stress.
