Weigh-in this morning... 173.5 for a two point one drop heh. I bounce a lot but wow this is a lot of daily bouncing even for me. Actually, I am surprised at the drop. I did HIT yesterday and then ended up fasting most of the day because I was busy. The last couple of times that happened I had a big bounce the following morning. We'll see what happens tomorrow!

Weigh in today 150 You know you need to skip your HIT while you have that cold, right? Don't let me catch you working out while sick! This cold is kicking my butt today. Glad it wasn't this bad yesterday. On the plus side I can actually take cold medicine now. Before NK cold meds would jack up my heart rate and BP too much and it made me bounce off the walls. I took some this am and it didn't bother me. Weigh in today 150 Stupid bouncing scale! Hehe, I love this Lisa!

Weigh-in this morning... 173.4 for a point one drop. Yesterday I continued the porch rebuild saga (an ongoing challenge of mine for the last few weeks - a man with no construction skills, perhaps even a man that could be characterized as having skills that dip into the negative zone if we graphed them). So far, I have escaped with only minor injuries - a bashed thumb and requisite discolored thumbnail, a drilled finger of shallow depth, various splinter wounds, pride slap fighting with ego, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance and an awe of Mr. Pythagoras who is undoubtedly looking down on me with disapprobation across the eons.
I mention the porch because I had to swing a pick ax for a while yesterday to bust up part of an old concrete pad formerly at the base of the former stairs. So yesterday's work did actually include some strenuous labor. As an aside, my pattern has been to see a one to two pound bounce on this day post-HIT (second WI after).
I had my morning CO & coffee calories (~500) and then I didn't eat until sometime after 6pm. Energy levels, even with the threat of self-inflicted injury vis a vis the pick ax? Steady and straighter than any line I've cut with the circular saw heh.
Energy levels are subjective by nature but I can't remember this being the case while I was LC prior to NK. This is when a tricorder would come in handy because I am pretty sure I'll never talk myself into poking my finger for BK tests.
Frankly, given my challenges with this porch, I think the whole Egyptian pyramids thing is a hoax. I've never actually seen them and the shadows are wrong in the pictures.

Numbers for yesterday:1855 calories, 17 carbs, 95 grams protein, 151 grams fat.
My weight over the last few days have been: 209.8, 208, 209, and this morning 208.4
I am still trying to get adapted again after my carb binge. Today is day 8 back in track.
Cheryl, I hope you feel better soon. I hate to have a cold. Strep throat is rampant where I live so I am taking lots of Vitamin D.

You may want to add zinc, it's also important for boosting the immune system.

I drank too much coffee yesterday, stayed up until 5 am and woke up at 10 am. I don't feel bad though! I'm going limit caffeine to 1 cup of coffee, and try to get to bed early tonight. I'm going to cook up a batch of buffalo chicken balls to eat for lunch or dinner this week, and make more mashed cauliflower.

Thanks for the tip Bunniee. I have never supplemented with zinc. It's probably the ONLY thing I haven't used.

Log for 10 Nov Calories: 1,498
WT – Stable, no increase or decrease, 5 days now
FAT: 140g PROTEIN: 63g CARBS: 1g
BREAKFAST: 3 egg omelet with cheese and HWC Lunch: BPC and pork rinds Dinner: BPC and roast
I’ve gotta tell ya, I was pretty sad this morning after seeing another .3 BK. I went back in my food logs and duplicated a day I thought might help me determine just how sensitive I am to carbs…..I only ate 1 during today and it appears to have paid off……my evening BK was 1.2!! I will stay at as low as possible for a few days and see how the BKs roll. I’d like to be able to eat 20gs as I really miss my veggies but I seem to slip out above 20.
Morning Fasting BK - .3 2hrs after last meal – 1.2

Weigh in today 150.0 Oh well, I guess I am just happy to be in the world of the living. lol Maybe the weight will come down as this cold goes away. I have a back ache too so there could be some inflammation there as well. Laying around does not agree with me.

She could go for a week and not touch veggies or carbs. She did really well. I tried meat and eggs with her a few times but I felt horrible. I have to have some veggies.

Good morning everyone!! I'm on day 30 of NK. Total weight loss thus far has been 5.5 lbs. I lost 6.5 in the first week, then another .5 lb in week 2. On day 18 I bounced upwards by 2 lbs. I've come down .5 lbs on day 24 and have been on that weight since then. No change, good or bad, in 6 days. I understand that the initial loss is more than likely water. I also figure until my body becomes fat adapted, I'm probably gonna sit at this weight and that could take a long time. So, I will continue this WOE, enjoy your company and be here to support, hug, and make ya laugh, if I can.... I was a bit fluish in the wee hours this morning. Lots of bugs going around at work and I had hoped they'd miss me. I think something was trying to take hold. Today's log will probably be off a bit. Not sure I want to eat anything for breakfast and had made plans to take advantage of some veteran day sales so I need to make sure I have something along in case I do want and need to eat. No more eating crap from fast food/restaurants. Think I'll take a thermos of BPC along and see how that works. Clueless, hope you're well soon. I agree with bunniee that it will fall at once.... I think there were some others dealing with sickness, so to all, heal fast!

Weigh-in this morning... 175.0 for a one point six bounce. Today I am going to make time to get some calories in during the day. I don't care much for eating a 2500+ calorie meal after 6pm and I know I am overeating from not eating all day - as nice as it is to not have the ball and chain of mandatory "lunch". I've already had a couple of ounces of bacon after coffee calories. I'll stop later and have a quick calorie snack too.

Weigh-in at 176 for a three pound drop. I don't "feel" (aren't feelings so fickle?) like that's accurate as I feel bloated and fat, fat, fat... But even if I added another pound for shoes/clothes it still is definitely some loss so I am happy about that. (In other news... when did I become a negative nancy? Geesh, you'd think I'd be super pumped about a two-three pound weight loss...) In other news... I'm actually thinking about getting a scale for home. I don't own one for various reasons: 1) I don't want to be obsess and be checking my weight all the time (and/or get super upset about gaining or losing) since I know there can be several pound shifts due to water weight/hormones/etc. 2) I've never taken the time to buy one. 3) This is less about losing weight and more about a lifestyle of (mostly) grain and sugar free eating. But I keep forgetting to weight myself first thing on Monday morning at work, so if I put it up on a shelf and only take it out on Monday mornings then maybe it'll be okay... but the one here at work is free... Hmmmmmm I know I'm a bit behind here (I was shutting out the world for the last few days...) so here's a belated happy birthday to you Cheryl!!!
