I did it! It's almost 420. Last food intake was 1220p yesterday. I made my SO a steak with green peppers and onions fried in bacon fat with eggs last night for dinner. I kept thinking I should be grouchy and hungry but really wasn't. Woke up and just did my WI at 176.2 Did my planks last night and 3 sets of deadlifts with 7 reps with a 70 lb dumbbell so was happy about that This morning I'm heading to 545a Jazz and will wear my HR watch to stay low impact. Feeling pretty happy about IF so far. Eating early this morning so may extend my window today in case I go to dinner with family tonight - happy they chose a steak house. I will prob skip eating out, but want the option Hope y'all have a fab Thurs! I'm going to check out this yolk water bottle thing and have some yolks in bacon fat for breakfast, mmm yummmmm. Love this WOE. Woot woot Robin, so excited for you!. Hooray!

Good morning all! 131.8, and I was 133.2 yesterday.. I think it was from the bouillon I had Tuesday. Didn't have a good eating day yesterday.. was stressed about a final, so had 4 cream cheese clouds in the morning, and then a burrito bowl with some chips around 9 last night, so I guess I'm not in ketosis. I have off until Monday now, when 4 more classes start up for another month. Then I go to New Jersey (where I grew up) from July 30-August 13 to spend time with my family while Brett is in Hawaii for work. He will be away from July 3-August 13, ugh! I'm excited to see my family though, and I have that to look forward to while I'm getting through school.
I've decided I don't like the cream cheese clouds that much--leaves a bitter aftertaste. I think its the stevia. I feel the same way about Splenda and aspartame lately too.. can't drink diet sodas or Powerade Zero anymore. Oh well.
Gonna go running this morning, I'm loving it lately. Have a good day yall!

Same with me Casey. I tried the cream cheese clouds but all the sweeteners I have found have a funky taste. SF jello gelatin is about the only sweet thing I can handle (besides 85% or 90% cocoa). Diet sodas are awful. Haven't found one I like yet. I found some torini and I can stand a tiny bit on cream cheese but not much and not in coffee. Funny cause years ago I drank diet soda. Now it taste awful to me. My taste buds must be crazy. I do like a little carbonated mineral water but everyone else thinks it taste terrible. LOL

I wasn't crazy about the cream cheese clouds either. Lately I've been mixing 2 tablespoons SF jello powder with 8 oz cream cheese, 2 oz hwc, and 4 oz sour cream. Then I beat the heck out of it with an electric mixer or food processor until it's light & fluffy, and chill in the fridge for at least an hour. The jello gives it just the right amount of sweetness.

I have a 2 Torani and Davinci syrups sitting in my cupboard.. they're disgusting! I hate the taste of fake sweeteners usually. I can handle a Splenda mixed in with sour cream and unsweetened cocoa, but thats about it.

I wasn't impressed with the cream cheese clouds either, too eggy Deb, what recipe did you use? The only ingredients in the ones I made were cream cheese, butter, stevia, and vanilla extract.

Today I got to go back to a client I'd worked for previously, and they were really happy to see me. The manager said they wanted me to come in last week too, but I was on another assignment. Apparently they'd had trouble getting other temps to understand the work. I thought it was fairly simple, just entering information in databases, but maybe I'm smarter than I give myself credit for. It felt good to be appreciated! It's been kind of an odd day, food-wise. I've had 2 servings of strawberry cream cheese mousse, coffee with hwc, and a burrito bowl with ground beef, salsa verde, shredded cheese, and a quarter cup of rice. Good for you !!!!

Ugh, I'm getting so sick of macadamia nuts. From now on, please remind me that no matter how much I like a food, ordering 25 pounds of it is not a good plan.

I was getting bored with eggs and decided to make migas for a change. I used 2 eggs, a corn tortilla cut into strips, shredded Mexican cheese blend, and salsa verde. The Mission corn tortillas are 8 carbs each, not too bad. Bacon is too expensive for me right now, but I did cook the eggs in leftover bacon grease to give them extra flavor.

That sounds like something I would do. (But it was on sale) By the way, I got my Kombucha brewing set today and have it up and running. So excited. Of course I ordered it before I'd ever even tasted it. It's good!!! Gonna be so healthy. I also have some Kefir grains coming (Both kinds). I don't want to overload myself so I will leave the water ones dehydrated for a while.

I live close to Va state line. It is so crazy. Neeses sausage is like $4.00+ a pack in NC, drive a couple of minutes to Va and get the same brand for $2.69. I only buy bacon when it is on sale. Same with Ground beef. Remember when people ate Ground beef cause it was cheap?? :eek:Now it is outrageous.

I rarely see ground beef for less than $2.50 per pound and the regular price is $3.50 or more. Very lean ground beef is often the cheapest, so I'll buy the kind that is 93% lean when it's on sale and cook it in bacon grease.
