On Friday, when I was home when I woke up, I chose not to weigh myself. I know stuff isn't happening at the moment in that regard and I decided not to annoy myself with a number. I count that as a victory. My weight/shape isn't changing at the moment, though I am doing everything "right" so I am letting that thing go. It'll change eventually it just isn't at the moment and I am learning to be okay with that.

Happy Monday! I had a great weekend! I went home sick on Friday and napped, Salmon and asparagus for dinner, then slept in until 11:00 am the next day. Woke up feeling 95% better! I tell you, sleep is the only thing that fixes me. Medicine only helps so much. But Saturday was relaxing and that evening I went to my Boss's retirement party. Grilled chicken, green beans, salad. I easily bypassed the seasoned potatoes and apple crisp & chocolate cake, but I did have two beers. I ended the day at around 55 total carbs-so not as bad as it could be. Sunday was yard work and house work day. Boy are my thighs and back sore from all the bending and stretching. But my roses and two flower beds look great! And we had clean clothes for the week-Yay! Dinner was steak- they had rice. I really wasn't hungry at all. I just ate my small steak.
I have a plan for lunch-Subway salad & water bottle. Dinner will either be hamburger patty or taco salad as I have ground beef that needs to be used up.
Hope you had a great weekend!

Work has been very busy lately. Glad I have my two office interns to help, but sometimes it's just faster to do it myself. I need to learn how to delegate better and then walk away!
I only had my BP coffee this morning as usual, but I am really hungry today at 10:00ish. Weird. I wonder if work stress is contributing to it? Old boss's last day today. New boss starts tomorrow. I'm trying to remember everything that needs to be converted over, but I'm sure I'll forget something.
I'm thinking cheeseburger patty and side salad for lunch. Maybe Wendy's. I like their side salads.

I lost 15#!!! Woo Hoo. (April fools!)
Actually my new boss got me good. Said the bank wouldn't honor his new signature on checks for 7 days. "How am I going to pay the bills?!?!" I think frantically. Until his big ol' grin as he tosses me the signed checks. April Fools. Touché' new boss. Touché'! (Just wait until next year!)
Everything else is same ol'-same ol' around here.
Happy hump day.

Sorry to hear that. What a pain. Hope it can be fixed.
I am thinking of Easter. We used to go to my Aunt's house for a big (like 20 people)extended family Easter dinner (and egg hunt for the littles) but she downsized this year and moved into a much smaller place. We are on our own. I guess boring ol' ham and scalloped potatoes (for them). Maybe I'll try a scalloped cauliflower? Maybe we'll start a new family tradition of Netflix Marathon Easter.
But I am off work tomorrow. Good Friday is a holiday in my office. So I will talk to you next Monday. Happy Easter Pam!

Hey -- I have been to Costa Rica and back where I hurt my ankle big time. Not broken thankfully. I am still on crutches but when getting back to the states I got myself to a medical supply place and bought a boot. It makes some of the mobility better. I am hopeful to be done with the crutches in a few days. It is has only been a week since I hurt it.
The other thing I've done is bought an external keyboard for my laptop which I am working on at the moment. It isn't the best fix but it is a fix!
Now, because my daughter's wedding is over, I have my more usual life to live again....though this busted up ankle hobbles me in the literal sense for a few more weeks I am sure. Won't be yard work in the next few weeks which is sad as it is still our coolish spring weather. Won't be long and it will be super hot and humid which limits the amount of time I spend out in the yard sweating.
It is always something!
