Today's NSV: I noticed my bra straps keep falling down. That means the band is getting too big for me. It may not seem like a victory, but it is because it means I'm shrinking.

This Woe is amazing. I swear I have always hated my arms. They run in the family, My Grandma, Mom and oldest sister, we all have the same upper arms. But, never have I been able to see as much muscle definition in my bicep as I can see now. They are still flabby in the triceps, but It is easy to see the cut in the bicep. I have been 140 lbs before and my arms were flabby and puny and I was working out then. All I do now is 30 to 45 minutes of yoga in the morning.

I've always hated my upper arms too, but mine are big and fat rather than puny. Building muscle is great!

I am just going to celebrate that I am actually losing weight. Before LC and NK I was actually gaining weight on 1200 calories a day.

When I did WW years ago, I was eating about 1200 calories a day and barely lost anything. I was also hungry all the time. My NSV is a new waist measurement of 30 inches. It was just over 33" when I started NK and was stuck at 31 for the longest time.

haha, well the waist comes with hips that are 44 inches. At least they are down from 46 inches. Now you see why I have trouble finding jeans that fit!

NSV is that I am "on a diet" and having a Tbone for dinner. Wonder is Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Hudson can do that? (of course for 4 million I might be persuaded to eat alfalfa sprouts with them.)

My NSV for Sunday is that I gave myself a day off from counting calories and weighing/measuring food, and don't feel like I have blown my diet.

I ate off plan at lunch, but didn't let it derail me into a full blown cheat day.

My NSV for today is that I noticed that my shirt (Polo type) hung straight down like I didn't have this last bit of belly to lose And this is a Large. I used to wear (at least) 3x in this type of shirt.

NSV for today - friend invited me to walk to the bookstore and i contemplated just going and buying a prot bar because i'm super stressed at work and it sounds delicious as usual but said NO THANK YOU and stayed busy and drinking lots of water to get past the feelings of wanting to eat even though I'm not hungry.

Boy I had a big one yesterday. Something came up and I had to put off dinner to take care of it and I was invited to a very good Mexican place for dinner. I was hungry and that place has the most awesomest awesome guacamole salsa. I did accept the offer but a few minutes later I declined to go. I knew I'd pig out on tortilla chips and that salsa and I've been doing so good staying on plan I hated to think of spending a week recovering from the carbs. Not to mention the fact that I know when I go off plan a little I have a hard time not going off plan a lot.

Wow, even though you missed out on a dinner out, I bet it feels good knowing you did something for YOU. That is pretty great. You will have a much better week having stuck to you plan. That is a very big deal. :high5:Congratulations.

I skipped lunch today and was hungry when I got home, but resisted the urge to snack while making dinner. I did have a snack after dinner, but it was reasonable and not me raiding the fridge.

I have a pair of size 14 no-stretch jeans that I've been trying to get into. This morning I could zip them up without a struggle while standing. They are a little tight, but I can sit in them without having to suck in my gut or feel like I'm being cut in half.

I have a similar NSV. I work out in some shorts I bought when I was around 205. They've fit well because they have a bit of elastic in the waist band Anyway, I noticed Tuesday that my shorts were slipping down a little and I had to keep hitching them up while working out Tuesday
