Low-carb is hard. Being fat is hard. Pick your hard. Wow. This line really made me think. I was going to argue that being fat isn't hard. It's easy. Too easy. That's why so many of us are fat. It's easier to eat crap and "comfort food" than make/seek out healthy. But upon reflection, the reality is that life while being fat is hard. Stairs, tying shoes, public opinion, self opinion, aches and pains, swelling, stomach/bowel discomfort, heartburn, snoring, high blood pressure, diabetes, brain fog, cutting your toe nails. Guess I'd better pick my hard.

LC life is good to get back to living.
Lessee. It has been right at three years since I went LC. Three wonderful years learning very interesting stuff, meeting wonderful people (and one or two despicable people lol), losing weight, feeling awesome, looking great, being truly alive, and not starving myself.
Anywho. Living the carby life is like waiting on a bus. You never get anywhere and you're uncomfortable while you are standing around. Like a pause before you finally start making progress and feeling like you are getting somewhere when you get on LC and start living.

On LC my digestive troubles disappeared. I was never officially diagnosed, but years ago I had all the symptoms of IBS-D and boy was it miserable.
