Storytha, tomorrow is another day. Don't dwell on today, it's over. I made it on track all day.....even had to enter the food court at the mall so he could buy his chinese, and had to smell it for the 85 mile ride home.....that was not nice of him..... I ate more in calories today. I was hungry when we got home probably because I smelled that delicious food all the way home...lol. MACROS for today - Calories - 1720 FAT - 170g Protein - 44 Net Carbs - 11 Ketogenic Ratio was 3.24. Goal is anything over 2.24. Had a BPC and chicken for breakfast Had a LCHF smoothie for lunch Had some pork, cauliflower w/butter and another BPC FBK this AM was .7 BK 2 hrs after meal was 1.1 FBG this AM was 91 BG 2 hrs after meal was 97 Off to check my kale chips. They're smelling wonderful...I call these my Cheezy Chips (no cheese or dairy, only cashews, red pepper, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, sea salt, a bit of medjool date and some chia seeds.)

Your chips sound fab KK. KK's right Storytha. Throw off the missed day. You've been doing great and still are! I think I ate about 2200 cals today. Not good. Shouldn't have hung around the cream cheese block.

Ok....lots of calories yesterday, not a lot of exercise as I was in a vehicle but woke up this morning to a 1 pound drop!!!! I restarted this WOE on 21 Sep, this is day 6 and I've relost 4 pounds.
Will be turning my chips this morning and won't be able to taste them. Have to weight out all the chips to get an idea of yield. I've been making these for a few months and have lots of folks who want to by them. I have a number of different flavors and started doing crackers as well. Anyway, I need to know by break even point to see what to charge. If I can get my Kale wholesale then I may just start a business. My other dehydrator bit the dust after only 20 months, so just am trying this new one. A bit more costly, but all stainless steel and larger fan and better heater. I stay below 115 to preserve enzymes. Okay enough kale chip history.........off to flip!

Dumb question-- is there a software that I can buy and load on my PC that gives me all this wonderful nutrition information? Sparkpeople seems limited to what it tracks. I want to know saturated fat, etc. Anyone recommend a program?

Thanks Rejoice, I'll check that link out.
My scale is still working in my favor. This morning I was another .5 pounds re-lost. I'm now only 9 pounds regained. My headaches have lessened since yesterday. I was back to having severe migraines. Maybe this time I'll stay on plan and not let my emotions drive me off a cliff.
Off to check my new batch of kale chips.....made some BBQ and some Dill. My cheezy recipe came out 6.1 NET carbs per ounce. An ounce is a fair portion in Kale chips. Not sure how the dill will come out as it's a new recipe I created, but not sure it will work. I'll have to taste and see. I didn't realize that kale has carbs. Oh well.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!!!!

Your kale chips sound fab. All vegetables are going to have some carbs. Obviously varying degrees which must be taken into consideration especially if using a total carb number and not a net carb number.
Didn't weigh today. Ate late and didn't see the point and the mental/emotional gymnastics that would require. Have a great Monday!

I did get on the scale this morning at about 5 a.m. and I am creeping back down to the 120s (yes, again. Seems to be the deal I am in at the moment. Better'n working on getting from 140s to 130s. Yep.). I don't come to my mom's until about 9:30 on Monday evening. I sing in a community choir and rehearsal is Monday nights. That helps me out tremendously. I ate once home about 9 yesterday morning and then didn't think about it again until about 6:30 in the evening. Picked up some sausage at a barbecue place (no sauce, please) and that was dinner. I have no idea about macros and calories for yesterday.

Egg Day! I need a kick start. I've been cruising too close to the carb limit lately and having drinks this weekend helped make me feel bloated. I'm trying to not eat/drink artificial sweeteners except the liquid stevia in my moring coffee. It's harder than I thought. Almost everything I drank before had it. So water water water. Which is best anyway. Just boring.
Happy Tuesday!

Weather has changed enough that I am wearing my first sweater of the season. Yay! I love soft sweaters. Nice to see this one fits a bit looser than this time last year.
Edit: I may have over estimated the weather change. Does sweating in your sweater at your desk count as excersise?

Rejoice, great to hear you're heading down on the scale!!! Sounds like you're doing your best to stay on track.
Storytha, what is Egg Day? Only eating eggs? Isn't that too much protein? I know I'm not drinking enough water but I'm so busy at the office I just really forget.
My hard work continues to pay off. Was up .5 yesterday but dropped 1.5 this morning. I'm now only 8 pounds above my lowest when I went of the tracks. I'm definitely in ketosis and feeling pretty good. I'm taking tomorrow off. I have a phone interview for a job in Washington state. I hope I don't blow it.........lol. We sure want to flee, I mean leave the midwest. Neither of us can handle the humidity and the winters here anymore. I'd rather be in the drier parts of Washington or Oregon or Idaho.
Well off to brush the furbaby. Enjoy your evening everyone.

Just a quick note. Weight was steady yesterday and this morning down .5 lbs. BK and BG have been very good. Glucose has been staying in the very low 80s and ketones in the morning are well above 1. These are some of the best numbers I've seen in nearly a year.
My job interview went well I think. They may ask for another after they determine the top 3 and may want me to fly out there. We'll see. I hate to fly. Did get some much overdue rest yesterday, so I'm feeling fine this morning.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

So glad you are doing so well KK! Here's to making the top three. Quiet food day yesterday (I ate only food in a LCHF way of eating). Up early so didn't weigh. Sleep at home tonight and not taking the scale from Mom's. I will weigh come Saturday when I am back waking up here in the morning. Storytha--I think sweating counts as burning a few more energy bits everytime.

KK- are you talking the West side of Washington? (Seattle area?) I've got my fingers crossed for you!! You are succeeding in your restart, I’m sure you’ll succeed in your job goals as well. Rejoice looks like you are finding your good balance and less snacking at your Mom's. I’m sure Saturday’s scale will be really nice to you! I had salad for lunch but I ended up eating pizza for dinner. I ended up really moving around a lot last night. Usually I'm couch bound from 5:30-11:00 but I didn't sit down until after 9:30 so hopefully that helped a little. (The pizza wasn't even good ) But I have great LC plans for today. Drinking my one coffee w/ HWC & CO & Stevia, Lunch will be eggs, ham, & water, Dinner will be Chicken, broccoli, & more water. I haven't had a diet coke since last Monday (22nd). I’m still in the conscience phase. I have to remind myself to not reach for one in the fridge or order water at the restaurant. Eventually it will become habit. I’m allowing Mio for now. Sucralose may not be as bad as Aspartame(?) I have liquid stevia drops for homemade lemon or lime “Mio” water. But want to watch the carb creep on fruit juice. 24 days until my Halloween party. I won’t be at my original goal but I’m not giving up. Every little ounce lost will make me look and feel better in my costume. Then onwards and downwards (get it? ) toward next mini goal of obvious weight loss by Christmas (to show Lil’ Sis LC works!) I know-shallow. But if it works-who cares? Mom's annual Christmas cookie contest is cancelled so one less temptation gone! Happy Thursday! Make it a great one!

Ok wow. I'm really having trouble with this site today. It took me several tries to even get logged on and just now I was responding to KK's questions about the egg day and it totally dumped me out. Anyone else having probs? or is it just my service? My other internet windows are working fine.

No unusual troubles here for me with the site. Fairly regularly it locks up my web browser--some script that won't finish-- but not what you are describing.

Storytha, This job would be in Yakima, WA. We want to be in the PNW and not really wanting Seattle due to lots of moisture. Looking for less humidity and milder winters. Our first choice is Spokane, but no government jobs much there. I'm trying to stay with Uncle until I said time to retire. How was everyone's day today? On track? I'm still doing NK WOE. It's been 12 days without straying. I hope I can continue. Hubby's junk sure tempts me. Time to banish him to the basement.........lol. Along with his aromas!!! Okay, time to unwind. Have a great evening! KK

Morning. Numbers are still looking good and still on track. I've remained the same weight for the past 3 weigh ins. Maybe I'm losing inches?
Hope you're all doing great! Enjoy the day.
