Weigh-in this morning... 169.8 for a point nine drop and the trend continues! I'm certain that it is the long fast during the day that is responsible but I still feel like I need to hold my tongue just right or I'll spoil the trend iykwim

I am so grateful to you all for the birthday wishes! , Did you have a good birthday? Yeah, it was good. My poor husband has had the flu, so he was too sick to do anything. But my daughter and I had a really nice day together. She was super sweet.

Weigh-in this morning... 169.6 for a point two drop and the trend continues! I noticed that my calories have dipped to an average of ~2700 the last five days. The five days before that the average is a bit skewed because of a 4000 calorie day but the relative deficit is about 500 calories. At 6 foot and 170ish pounds and a man I don't find it particularly challenging to have a 1500 calorie meal and a 700 calorie shake/snack an hour or so later. Eating more than that is a bit of a challenge since I feel stuffed after dinner and the shake. IF'ng does create a situation for a natural calorie deficit. Have ya'll listened to the Fat Burning Man episode with John Kiefer? It is very interesting! I listened to it a couple of times, when he posted it, before I fell into the IF thing and that podcast is why, at least indirectly. I wanted to test out the carb backloading that he discusses while staying in the NK range for carbs. The only way to do that was to IF until late in the day and eat all my carbs at dinner and with the after dinner snack. I wasn't sure how that'd work out for me because the times I've experimented with IF have resulted in some serious overeating. It seems like the difference is that in my previous informal IFs I would eat two meals, one around 2pm and one around 5pm. This time around I abstain until 5pm-ish. I do get hungry in the afternoon but thanks to LC I can control it like a brainless mainstream zombie who drools and is puzzled at why so many fat people are too lazy and stupid to eat less and move more. Screw you, you mainstream doltish unibrow dummies. www.fatburningman.com/john-kiefer-carb-backloading/And, omg!, this is one of the few podcast where the guy with the plan specifically says this won't work if your metabolism is broken! You have to have a reasonably well working and healthy body. Thank you John Kiefer for verbalizing what so many experts in alternative diet are too timid to say out loud.
