Yay! Thanks for starting the new thread, Cheryl. I've noticed lately that I can go up & down the stairs without my knees hurting. Since I live in a 2 story apartment, that is a big plus!

Hey that's great Lisa!
Made me think too, my feet used to hurt a lot. I can't remember the last time they hurt. When I was at my heaviest my feet hurt all day everyday. When I was counting calories and exercising I would walk miles and miles on aching feet. MAN!!! It sure is nice not to have to be out walking for exercise on sore feet to try and lose weight that never budges.

My NSV is being able to put my socks on standing up. I do that sometimes just because I can. Tying my shoes without propping a foot up on the side of the bed is another one that gives me daily joy

Got a great list of recent When I sit in staff pose my sit BONES actually are on the floor. While on my back my hip BONES are on the floor. In eagle pose I can cross my arms over each other and clasp hands easily. 1hr of vinyasa flow no problem! Sm skirt that I could not even pull up over hips now fits like butter along with a top that I could not even fit over my arms a couple of months ago. Am so grateful!!

Crossing my legs. My collar bones have reappeared. Can feel my hip bones. I do have ribs after all. That hollow in my gut when I lay down. Belly not in the way when bending over to tie sneaks. Muscle strength from exercising.
I'm sure there will be other mind boggling happenings.

Thanks Victlady. The soft and mushy will be a thing of the past. Want tight, firm, though at my age a little droopy.
But that's okay too.

Non Scale Victories: Lower total cholesterol, IBS gone, GERD gone, swelling of hands and feet gone, lightheaded-ness when first getting out of bed in the AM gone, more endurance, able to cut my own toenails, able to cross my legs (not that that is good for leg circulation, but a victory nonetheless), softer skin, ability to fit in the regular sized bathroom stall instead of the handicapped stall, more space in the kitchen since I don't have junk food in the pantry...

Yes, makes it easier to stay on this WOE instead of dreading to do CICO. Weight Watchers was so hard for me to do, I was starving all the time and looking forward to the next meal.

Had a rough/stressful week. Argument with SO, work is insane - yet stayed on track. Did not turn to food for comfort one single time this entire week! My best friend, who works in the same dept as me, she's prego...she ordered Mexican on Thurs then Chinese on Fri. Invited me to order both times and offered to share her food both times, she knew I was having a rough day and knows how I eat so she knew I prob wasn't going to and it's just the culture of our dept to ask around for ordering, so no big deal. She's eaten LC before so knows I could get "something" off the menu (fajitas or beef/brocc - maybe...never looked at carb counts in beef/broc) but I was super proud I said nah, no thanks and just stayed on track! Saved money and made smart food choices for my WOE. Now, time to repeat this week (without the drama of course lol, that can stay in last week).

Stress is rough on weight loss. You have done great this week!

OMG I have some of the cutest little outfit! I am so thrilled. I have picked them all up at yard sales and some of them are so pretty. When the dryer buzzes on Saturday afternoon me and the girls all run to the laundry room to try on our loot. I have a whole set that I have stashed away in one drawer that are the too small clothes. I pulled out a pair of capris that didn't fit 2 weeks ago and they fit perfect today. AND I got 2 medium size tops yesterday that fit great. I used to wear Xtra large. I have been LC for a year this month. As of today I have lost 25 lbs, I was stalled 4 or 5 months out of that time so I am happy.

Ok...as you all know I've been struggling a bit...not losing as I would have liked...bouncing around like a rubber ball So decided to measure myself this morning and I have lost and amazing 31 inches off my body . I can't see it when I look at myself but the tape measure doesn't lie . I thought I'd made a mistake, but no (measured twice)....I'm REALLY happy x

I also started taking more serious measurements this week. Scale not talking to me, but hoping the tape measure will. Congrats and keep up the good work.

Love that feeling when you take a step on the down size and everything just slides on!

My non-scale victory is realizing that I have a need for fitted casual shirts. The fat ones I've always worn are boxy to hide fat.
